GAIBANDHA, Feb 19, 2020 (BSS) – Livestock department here has taken up
various programmes to celebrate the Mujib Barsho (Mujib Year), the birth
centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
successfully.
The programmes include illumination of livestock offices, building smart
livestock village, free veterinary medical camp, and arranging training for
the poultry and dairy farmers.
The programmes also include displaying of high quality cross bred calves,
PPR realizing activity, conducting school feeding, awareness campaign at
grassroots levels, farmers field school activity, and cleanliness drives
Talking to the BSS, district livestock officer Dr. Abdus Samad said they
are eagerly waiting for the auspicious moment with festive mood and much
enthusiasm.
All sub-ordinate officials and staffers had been instructed to take
preparations and to do works seriously as per the directives of the high
officials concerned to celebrate the Mujib Year in the district effectively,
he said.
