DHAKA, Feb 17, 2020 (BSS)- A three-member team from the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Nigeria today visited the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) at Planning Ministry in the city.
The Nigerian team, led by its Director Aliya Edogi Aliya, visited the CPTU to exchange views and knowledge on electronic government procurement (e-GP), said a press release.
During the CPTU visit, the team called on IMED Secretary Abul Mansur Md Faizullah at his office.
The team apprised the secretary for ensuring digitization in the procurement process.
During the meeting, the secretary focused on a plan to turn CPTU into an independent authority and need for compliance by the development partners with the country procurement system.
