LALMONIRHAT, Feb 16, 2020 (BSS) – A college student was killed in a road accident at Namuri Bazar on the Lalmonirhat-Patgram highway under Aditmari
upazila of the district this noon.
The deceased was identified as Nurunnobi, 17, a first-year student of
Duhuli Technical School and College, of Madonpur village in the upazila.
Police said the accident occurred when a truck hit Nurunnobi in the area
as he was crossing the road, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where the duty doctors
declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Aditmari Thana Saiful Islam confirmed the
matter.
