Four held with 40kg hemp in city
DHAKA, Feb 12, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka
Metropolitan Police have arrested four drug peddlers from city’s Tejgaon
industrial area.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Ashik Miah, 45, Md. Jubayel
Ahmmed , 28, Md. Abu Miah , 30, and Md. Munnu Dhali , 21 .
On a tip-off, detective branch of police recovered 40 kilograms of hemp and
a covered van from their possession on Tuesday night, Additional Deputy
Police Commissioner Md Kaisar Rizvi Kprayeshi today confirmed the matter to
BSS.
During primary interrogation, the arrestees were confessed about their
involvement with drug trading.
A case was filed with Tejgaon industrial police station in this
connection.
