Khalid opens 19 development projects in Dinajpur
DINAJPUR, Feb 11, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury today inaugurated 19 development projects at Bochaganj upazila in the district.
Later, Khalid addressed a rally on the playground of Hatrampur Degree College as the chief guest. He also inaugurated a newly-constructed academic building of the college, a ministry press release said.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is committed to development and that is why none can halt the pace of the country’s development.
“The government aims to build Sonar Bangla, dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, overcoming all the challenges. Awami League always keeps its pledges,” the state minister said.
He inaugurated new academic buildings of nine government primary schools, two new buildings of land offices and seven wash blocks of government primary schools.
Bochaganj Upazila Awami League General Secretary Md Afsar Ali, Principal of Hatrampur Degree College Md Abu Sayeed and Education Engineering Department’s Engineer ASM Shahirul Islam, among others, spoke at the rally with Hatrampur Degree College managing committee’s president Md Rabiul Islam Chowdhury in the chair.
