Murad seeks media cooperation for implementing PM’s 10 initiatives

DHAKA, Feb 10, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan
today sought journalists cooperation for proper implementation of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 10 special initiatives to build a hunger and poverty
free Bangladesh.

“We seek your all-out cooperation so that her expectations with the
projects are materialized properly,” he told the closing ceremony of a two-
day training programme of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) district
correspondents.

Murad called upon the journalists to apply properly the experience they
gathered from the training programme in their professional services to
supplement the government’s development objectives.

“Our goal is to build a Sonar Bangla as dreamed by Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working
relentlessly to translate the dreams into reality,” Murad said.

BSS Infotainment Service and Amar Bari Amar Khamar Prokalpo of Rural
Development and Co-operatives Division (RDCD) jointly organized the event
titled “Sheikh Hasina’s 10 initiatives and Development Journalism” in
collaboration with Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB) at PIB conference room.

Twenty four BSS district correspondents from the country’s three of the
country’s eight administrative divisions took part in the training programme
opened yesterday by Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud while BSS managing
Director and Chief Editor Abul Kalam Azad was in the chair.

PIB Director General Zafar Wazed, RDCD joint secretary Md Najir Ahmed
addressed as well the concluding session as special guests while BSS Managing
Editor Anisur Rahman was in the chair.

BSS infotainment service in-charge and Focal Point Officer of PM’s ten
special initiatives Mahfuza Jasmine coordinated the two-day training program.
