REMAND-RAPE-KADAMTOLI
Three remanded over Kadamtoli gang rape
DHAKA, Feb 10, 2020 (BSS) – A court here today placed three accused on
three-day remand each in a case filed over gang rape of two girls in
capital’s Kadamtoli area.
The accused are- Sohel, Rana Bepari and Akhter Ali.
Dhaka Metropolitan Satyabrata Shikder passed the order as police
produced the trio before the court and pleaded to place them on 10-day remand
each, public prosecutor Hemayet Uddin Khan Hiron told BSS.
The accused raped the girls in the morning of February 9 in Noakhali
Potti area of Kadamtoli. The victims filed the case in the night and police
promptly arrested the alleged rapists.
The victims have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital One-
Stop Crisis Center.
