PM mourns death of former professor Enamul Kabir
DHAKA, Feb 6, 2020 (BSS)- Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President
Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Professor
Enamul Kabir, brother-in-law of Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir
Nanak.
In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul
and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Enamul Kabir, former Professor of Government Bangabandhu University College
of Gopalganj, died at a city hospital on Wednesday at the age of 86,
according to a release of AL office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua.
He left behind his wife, two son, two daughters and a host of relatives
and well-wishers to mourn his death.
In separate message, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and
Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the
death of Enamul Kabir.
