DU VC stresses on inclusive education

DHAKA, Feb 6, 2020 (BSS)- Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC)
Professor Dr Akhtaruzzaman today laid emphasize on the need for inclusive education system for flourished intellectual capacity of the students.

“Students must take lessons from each other through interdisciplinary
interactions outside of classroom… They must help each other to bloom as worthy citizen,” he said while addressing as the chief guest at an
orientation programme of first year Honors students’ of the DU Business
Studies Faculty at TSC auditorium, said a press release here.

Prof Akhtaruzzaman urged the students to play an effective role in
ensuring a congenial academic atmosphere on the campus.

He also called upon the students to work together for building ‘Sonar
Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Students’ Counseling and Guidance Office of DU arranged the programme with
its Director Prof Dr Mahjabeen Haque in the chair.

Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad and Dean of the Faculty of
Business Studies Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam addressed the programme as
special guests.

Chairmen and Students Advisors of different departments were also present,
among others, on the occasion.
