RAB-SEIZURE-PHENSIDYL
Two held with Phensidyl in city
DHAKA, Feb 04, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-3) seized a huge
quantity of smuggled phensidyl and arrested two drug traders from Pubali
metropolitan area under Jatrabari thana in the capital today.
The arrested persons are: Md Mahmudur Rahman alias Sajib, 38 and Md Ishaq
Ali, 35.
“An operational team of RAB-3 seized 600 bottles of phensidyl and arrested
the drug traders around 1:30 pm from the area,” said RAB-3 staff officer (int
and media) additional police superintendent ABM Faizul Islam.
The elite force also seized a covered-van used for carrying the smuggled
phensidyl, two mobile phone sets along with three Sim cards and Taka 23,480
in cash from their possession, he added.
The process of filing a case in this connection is underway.
