400 absent in SSC exam in Chattogram Board
CHATTOGRAM, Feb 3, 2020 (BSS) – On the first day, the
Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in five districts
under Chattogram Education Board was held here peacefully today.
Control room sources said two candidates from Diginala
Babuchara High School under Khagrachari sadar centre were expelled
on the first day and 400 students were absent in the first
examination, which was Bengali first paper.
A total of one lakh 43 thousand 690 out of one lakh 44
thousand 90 examinees from 1,048 high schools participated in the
examination.
Controller of examination Narayan Nath told BSS that the
examination was held in a peacefully, 62 general vigilance and 10
special vigilance teams have been deployed in the examination
centres to complete the exam in a fair and peaceful manner.
He further said the government is committed to complete the
large public examination without unfair means and cautious against
the leakage of question papers.
