Bangabandhu School Hockey’s Dinajpur phase inaugurated
DHAKA, Feb 3, 2020 (BSS)-The Dinajpur phase of Bangabandhu National School Hockey competition was inaugurated today at Dinajpur Stadium.
Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mahmudul Alom formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf, Dinajpur District Sports Association vice president Mosaddek Hossain Pappu and First Security Islami Bank Dinajpur’s branch manager Rakibul Hafiz Chowdhury were present in the inauguration ceremony.
In the inaugural match, Jubilee High School of Dinajpur beat Cheradangi High School by 6-1 goals.
In the day’s match, Mohammad Rumman scored hat-trick with four goals while Mursalin and Subrata supported him with a lone goal each for the winning side. Ashraful scored the lone goal for the losers.
In the day’s second match, Iqbal High School blanked Salondor High School by 2-0 goals with Mohammad Russell scored both the goal for Iqbal High School.
