Police works relentlessly to earn peoples’ trust: IGP

RAJSHAHI, Feb 3, 2020 (BSS) – Inspector General of Police Dr Muhammad Javed Patwary said the Bangladesh Police has been working relentlessly to earn peoples trust for building a peaceful society through ensuring better law and order situation.

“We are working with the aim of achieving the people’s trust and confidence in the police stations,” he said while addressing a special welfare meeting of all units of Bangladesh Police at police line playground in Rajshahi City today as chief guest.

Chaired by Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Humayun Kabir, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Additional Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, Deputy Inspector General of Police in Rajshahi Range AKM Hafiz Akter and Deputy Inspector General of Police Sheikh
Nazmul Alam.

IGP Javed Patwary instructed field-level police officials and members to
attach top priority to ensure pro-people police services so that the public
in general can derive total benefits of the services.

He said the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina is very much positive towards transforming the police
force into a modern one side by side with the welfare of all its members.
