Fire of Kuril mattress shop under control
DHAKA, Feb 03, 2020 (BSS) – A fire which broke out today in a mattress-
quilt shop in city’s Kuril area was brought under control around 11:55am.
Duty officer of fire service headquarters Ershad Hossain told BSS that
the fire broke out at the shop around 10:40am.
On information, two units of Kurmitola Fire Service and Civil Defence
rushed to the spot and completely doused the blaze with frantic efforts of
over an hour.
The fire service official primarily assumed that the fire might originate
from electric short circuit.
However, none was injured in the fire incident, the official added.
