4 held for spreading question paper leak rumors
DHAKA, Feb 3, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested four persons from different parts of the country today for allegedly
spreading rumors about SSC and equivalent examination question paper leak.
RAB legal and media wing Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman
confirmed the matter.
The arrestees were detained from Rampura in capital, Gazipur and Khulna
districts, the official said.
Earlier, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said all coaching centers
across the country will remain shut for a month from January 25 with the aim
of preventing question paper leakage during the SSC and its equivalent
examinations.
Also, she said that government has taken strict surveillance measures to
stop SSC question paper leakage.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations
under 11 education boards begin today across the country.
