Tajul inaugurates Personal Data Sheet system
DHAKA, Feb 2, 2020 (BSS) – Local Government Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam today
inaugurated Personal Data Sheet (PDS) system for first class officers of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED)

Speaking at the PDS system inaugural ceremony at LGRD conference room, the minister termed PDS system as a time-befitting initiative to collect and provide officers’ service-related information.
Senior Secretary of Local Government Division Helaluddin Ahmed presided over the function.
Additional Secretary of LGRD Division Dr. Kazi Anwarul Haque and Chief Engineer of Local Government Engineering Department Shushangkor Chandra Acharya also attended the function.
Like other departments of the government, Tajul said, LGED has taken the initiative to implement the PDS system which has been integrated with the Personal Management Information System (PMIS).
This is the first such initiative for the offices and agencies under the local government division, he added.
