DHAKA, Feb 2, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today unveiled the cover of the 7th edition of Mujib Graphic Novel at Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2020.
The prime minister unwrapped the cover of the novel at the Center for Research and Information (CRI) stall on Bangla Academy premises here this afternoon.
Radwan Mujib Siddiq, a grandson of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and CRI Trustee, handed over a set of all the editions of Mujib Graphic Novel to the premier on the occasion.
Bangla Academy President National Professor Anisuzzaman, its Director General Habibullah Sirajee, CRI Executive Director Sabbir Bin Shams, CRI officials and other concerned involved with the publication were present on the occasion.
The graphic novel, an initiative of the CRI, is based on “The Unfinished Memoirs”, an autobiography written by Bangabandhu, during his time as a state prisoner between 1967 and 1969.
Mujib Graphic Novel is first of its kind to tell the incredible stories of Bangabandhu.
