TREE-PLANTATION-BUP
Tree plantation, flower festival held at BUP
DHAKA, Feb 2, 2020 (BSS)- “Tree Plantation-2020” and “BUP Flower Festival-
2020” programmes were held today at Bangladesh University of Professionals
(BUP) premises in city’s Mirpur Cantonment area.
Environmental Club of Bangladesh University of Professionals (EnCBUP)
arranged the programmes, said a press release here.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) of BUP Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari inaugurated the
programme as the chief guest while Pro-VC Professor M Abul Kashem Mozumder
was present as special guest.
The aim of the programmes was to highlight the importance of indigenous
flowers in preserving the environment and to inspire the students to play a
positive role in this regards.
Besides, all BUP high officials, teachers, staff and students also
participated in a cleanliness programme to make the campus more clean.
