Abdul Muhith new envoy to Austria
DHAKA, Feb 2, 2020 (BSS) – The government has decided to appoint Muhammad Abdul Muhith as the next ambassador of Bangladesh to Austria.
Besides, he will also serve as Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the UN Offices and other International Organizations in Vienna, a foreign ministry press release said here today.
He is currently serving as the ambassador of Bangladesh to Denmark.
Muhith, a career foreign service officer, joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Foreign Affairs cadre in 1993.
In his diplomatic career, Muhith served in various capacities in the Bangladesh missions in Kuwait, Rome, Doha, New York and Washington DC as well as at the headquarters in different wings.
Muhith obtained his Masters and Bachelor degrees in Sociology from the University of Dhaka.
He is married and blessed with two daughters.
