DHAKA, Feb 2, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today called upon the students to work hard to fulfill the expectations of the families, societies and nation.
The VC was addressing as the chief guest the orientation program of 1st year honors students of different institutes, different departments under the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the university at TSC auditorium, organized by Students’ Counseling and Guidance(SCGO) office of DU.
Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. SM Abdur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences Prof. Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal and Director of the Institute of Education and Research Prof. Syeda Tahmina Akhter addressed it as special guests with Director of SCGO Professor Dr. Mahjabeen Haque in the chair.
The DU VC urged the students to be aware of their potentialities and protect academic life from harmful things.
They must earn self dignity and follow the right path in their daily activities, he added.
Directors of different institutes, chairmen and students advisors of different departments were present on this occasion.
