DHAKA, Feb 1, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) nominated mayoral candidate
for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh
today cast his vote at Dhanmondi Kamrunnessa Government Girls’ High School
this morning.
Taposh cast his vote at Dhanmondi Kamrunnessa Govt Girls’ High School
around 8:30 am.
After casting his vote, Taposh expressed satisfaction over casting his vote
through Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) as it is modern and easy method.
“For the first time, I cast vote through EVM. It is modern and easy
process. It takes a little time to cast vote. Everybody can cast their vote
smoothly through the process,” he said.
Expressing his firm confidence about his victory in the mayoral election,
Taposh said he is ready to accept whatever the verdict comes.
“I’m confident about my victory in the election. The people of Dhaka have
accepted us very much for getting a better city,” he told reporters.
