RANGPUR, Jan 30, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a presumed admin chief of a fake question paper leaking gang from Tazhat area of Rangpur metropolitan city on Wednesday night.
“On a tip off, a special operation team of RAB-13 conducted a raid and
arrested the youth with a mobile phone set used in taking screenshot of a facebook group,” said a press release issued here this evening by Media Officer of RAB-13 ASP Khondker Golam Mortuza.
The arrested identified as Nayeem Islam Nahid is a resident of Binodpur
(Uttarpara) village under Tazhat police station of Rangpur Metropolitan
Police (RpMP) in the district.
During interrogation, the arrested youth admitted his involvement in
cheating examinees of the SSC examinations of 2020 by supplying fake question
papers through messenger and whatsapp in exchange of money through Bkash and
promising to change results.
“After filing a case against the arrested person, the elite force handed
him over to Tazhat police station today for taking legal actions,” the
release added.
