DHAKA, Jan 29, 2020 (BSS) – Various cold-related diseases have affected
4,248 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
Data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) control room
showed that 925 of the patients received treatment for acute respiratory
infection.
Another 1,873 were treated for diarrhoea and 1,450 for other diseases
including jaundice, inflammation in the eye, skin diseases and fever, a press
release said here today.
A total of 57 deaths were reported across the country between November 1
and January 29 due to the cold-related diseases.
