Speakers for spreading Bangabandhu’s ideology among new generation
DHAKA, Jan 28, 2020 (BSS) – Speakers at a discussion today called for taking initiatives to spread the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman among the new generation.
They were speaking at the discussion marking the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Adarsha High School in city’s Mirpur area, said a press release.
Bangladesh Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim attended it as the chief guest while Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Organising Secretary Ahmed Hossain, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Bangladesh Mahila AL General Secretary Mahmuda Begum and Bangladesh Mohila Sramik League General Secretary Kazi Rahima Akter Shati were present as special guests.
State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder presided over the meeting.
Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had deep love for the soil and the people of Bangladesh. “Even whenever he faced trouble, he thought about the soil and the people of Bangladesh,” he added.
Bangabandhu, he said, dedicated his life for a country to be free from exploitation and deprivation.
Kamal Ahmed Mojumder said the new generation should know the history of Bangabandhu’s sacrifice. “The ideology and history of the Father of the Nation should be projected through various intellectual development programs,” he added.
