DHAKA, Jan 27, 2020 (BSS)- BNP nominated mayoral candidate for Dhaka North
City Corporation (DNCC) polls Tabith Awal today declared a 19-point election
manifesto with pledges to control mosquito menace and traffic jam, prevent
air pollution and overall to work on to make a clean Dhaka.
He formally declared the manifesto at a press conference at Emmanuelle’s
Banquet Hall in the city’s Gulshan area.
In his manifesto, he also highlighted the importance of improving
infrastructural development and public transport, making a women, children
and disabled friendly Dhaka city.
Besides, fire safety and disaster management, safe water, food safety,
public toilet, small business development, crime control, residence, park and
amusement plans also included in the 19-point election manifesto.
BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Vice-Chairman Md
Shahjahan, standing committee members Nazrul Islam Khan, Gayeshwar Chandra
Roy, Selima Rahman, convener of Nagorik Oikko Mahmudur Rahman Manna were
present, among others, on the occasion.
