DHAKA, Jan 26, 2020 (BSS) – Directorate of Registration today got its new
chief while Dhaka sixth Special Judge Mohammad Shahidul Alam Jhinuk joined
the office as its new Inspector General this afternoon.
Law and Justice Division through a gazette notification on Thursday,
appointed Jhinuk as new Inspector General of Registration (IGR) on
deputation.
Jhinuk, a judiciary cadre of 10th BCS, worked as senior assistant judge in
Comilla, Dhaka and Feni and promoted as joint district judge in 2003 and
became additional district and sessions judge in 2007. He worked as deputy
secretary at Law and Justice Division and became district judge in 2015.
Mohammad Shahidul Alam Jhinuk also worked as registrar of International
Crimes Tribunal (ICT) in 2015. Later, he worked as district and sessions
judge in Sunamganj and Manikganj.
