Indian HC celebrates Republic Day
DHAKA, Jan 26, 2020 (BSS) – The Indian High Commission here today
celebrated the 71st Republic Day of India at chancery premises of the
mission.
Marking the day, Indian high commissioner to Dhaka Riva Ganguly Das
unfurled the national flag and read out the message of the Indian President,
a press release said here.
Indian Army’s Mahar regimental band that was flown in here for the
occasion played the Indian National Anthem.
Indian community members residing in Dhaka joined the Republic Day
celebrations and enjoyed a cultural programme showcasing India’s ‘unity in
diversity’.
