Blankets distributed among cold-hit people in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, Jan 25, 2020 – (BSS) – Debiganj Friends Club today distributed
200 blankets among poor and distressed people in Debiganj upazila of the
district.
Upazila chairman of Debiganj Abdul Malek Chistee, upazila nirbahi officer
(UNO) Protty Hasan and leaders and members of the club, among others, were
present at the distribution programme.
On the occasion, speakers urged the affluent section of the society to
extend their helping hands for removing the suffering of the cold -affected
people in the Panchagarh district.
The local administration sources said the government has distributed warm
cloths among poor people in the district to mitigate their suffering from
winter chill.
