One held with 1.8 kg heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 25, 2020 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested a drug peddler with 1.8 kilograms of heroin worth about Taka
1.80 crore from Thakur Jouban village under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi
district on Friday night.
The arrested was identified as Md Mostakin, 16, son of Md Durul of
Adarshagram under the upazila.
On a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp
conducted a raid in the area around 8.05 pm and nabbed Mostakin with the
contraband drugs.
Later, he was handed over to the police of Godagari thana with a case, RAB
sources said.
