Zia, Tahsin, Maleq post win 9th round in open GM Chess
DHAKA, Jan 24, 2020 (BSS)- GM Ziaur Rahman Zia, Tahsin Tajwa and Jishan
Rahman Maleq won their respective ninth round matches of the 12th Chennai
Open International Grandmasters (GM) Chess Tournament now being held in
Chennai, India.
In the ninth round games held on Friday, Zia beat Sa Kannan of India,
Tahsin defeated Keerthana B of India while Maleq beat outclassed Rosewe of
India.
After the ninth round matches, Zia earned six points, Tahsin bagged 4.5
points and Maleq secured 3.5 points.
