CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 24, 2020 (BSS) – District Police held 16 Jamaat activists in the municipality area as they were holding a secret meeting for subversive activities this morning.
Police also recovered 15 cocktails and half-kg of gun powder from their
possession.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana Md Ziaur Rahman said
on information a contingent of police raided a mango orchard at Charmohonpur
around 7 am and held them with the cocktails, gun powder and Islamic
revolutionary books.
A case was filed with the concerned police station under Explosive Act, he
added.
