Swarnavo takes solo lead in school rating chess
DHAKA, Jan 24, 2020 (BSS) – Swarnavo Chowdhury of Wills Little Flowers
School and College took solo lead in the points table with maximum four
points after 4th round games of the School FIDE Rapid Rating Chess tournament
that began today (Friday) at Chess Federation hall-room.
WFM Noshin Anjum of Viqarunnesa School and College, Ahmed Walijah of
Ispahani School and College and Bishwajit Das Shrestho of Sylhet Government
Pilot School are sharing the second position with 3.5 points.
Nine players are sharing the third position with three points. They are
Nusrat Jahan Alo, Muhammad Abtahi Abrar, Urbana Chowdhury, Warsia Khusbu,
Faiyaz Mahmud, Anindya Singha Argho, Anannyo Kader, Safwan Swadin Organ and
Sakin Al Sadaf.
The event is being held in Swiss-League system and cash prize-money will be
given to the winners.
