ARREST-YABA-SEIZURE
One held with 3,245 yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 23, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested an alleged drug peddler with 3,245 pieces of contraband yaba tablets
from Belalbazar area in Gomostapur upazila of the district yesterday.
The arrestee was identified as Md Arafat Hossain, 30, resident of
Gaginagar Sanabhanga village of Patnitala upazila under Naogaon district.
On a tip-off, Chapainawabganj camp RAB-5 operation team raided the
aforesaid area at around 4:45 pm and arrested him with the yaba tablets, RAB
sources said.
The arrestee has been handed over to Gomostapur Thana Police, the sources
added.
A case was filed in this connection.
