Minor boy killed in road accident in Lakshmipur
LAKSHMIPUR, Jan 22, 2020 (BSS) – A minor boy was killed as a pickup van
ran over him in Sadar Upazila here this noon.
The deceased was identified as Nishan Ahmed, 09, hailed from Matbi village
of the Upazila. The boy was a class-three student at Mandari govt primary
school.
Quoting eye-witnesses police said the accident occurred at around 2 pm in
Mandari Purbo Bazar area on Dhaka-Raipur Highway, leaving Nishan dead on the
spot.
Police arrested the driver and seized the pickup van from the spot.
