RAJSHAHI, Jan 22, 2020 (BSS)- Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton today called for holistic efforts to ensure quality education for building up the students as worthy citizens.
“Quality education can be an effective means of enriching the sector of the skilled human resources to lessen gradually mounting pressure of unemployment problem,” he said this while addressing the annual prize-giving ceremony of Rajshahi Collegiate School held at its playground as chief guest.
Chaired by the Headmaster of the school Dr Nurjahan Begum, the ceremony was
addressed, among others, by Assistant Headmasters Farida Yeasmin and Abul
Hashem and former Headmaster Golam Hossain.
Mayor Liton said teachers, students and their guardians should come forward
to make the institution level teaching-learning process more effective to
attain the cherished goal of building next generation as skilled human
resources.
He said the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly for improvement of
quality education to take the nation forward.
“To this end, government of Sheikh Hasina has adopted diversified
programmes,” Liton said.
