TANGAIL, Jan 22, 2020 (BSS) – Two truck helpers were killed and five others injured in two separate road accidents in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Emon, 16, resident of Kukadair village in
Bhuapur Upazila and Redanur Haque, 32, hailed from Ashka village in Valuka Upazila of Mymensingh district.
Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu Setu East Thana Kazi Ayubur Rahman said
Emon died following a collision between two trucks and a bus at Kamakkha Mor
on Tangail-Bangabandhu Setu Highway in Kalihati Upazila.
Five others were also injured in the accident.
Redanur died on the spot in the second accident, took place at east side
Toll Plaza area of Bangabandhu Setu at around 7 am when a truck hit another
truck.
Injured people were admitted to Tangail General Hospital.
