Motorcycle rider killed in Sylhet road accident
SYLHET, Jan 22, 2020 (BSS) – A motorcycle rider was killed and two others
were injured as a truck hit their motorcycle in Chowhatta area of the town in
the early hours of today.
The deceased was identified as Imtiaz Mahbub Mirza, 20, resident of
Sheikhghat in the town.
Officer-in-Charge of Sylhet Kotwali Model Thana Md Selim Mia said the
accident occurred at around 2:30 am when a truck hit a motorcycle in the area.
The injured were rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital where the duty
doctors declared Imtiaz dead.
Police arrested the truck driver from the spot.
