DHAKA, June 8, 2018 (BSS) – Valiant Freedom Fighter Awalad Hossain Swapan
of Louhajong, Munshiganj, died yesterday of old age complications at his Wari
home in the capital. He was 65.
Swapan, commander of Freedom Fighters of Khidirpara union under Louhajong
upazilla, left behind wife, three sons, a daughter, host of relatives and
well wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaj-e-janaza was held at his village Kholapara in Louhajong.
Hundreds of people of all ages attended the namaz-e-janaza. A smartly turned
out contingent drawn from of Louhajong Police gave him the guard of honor.
Swapan’s second namaj-e-janaza was held at Faridabad mosque in the old
Dhaka. Later he was buried in the designated place for Freedom Fighters at
Jurain graveyard.
