Soma, Mahi reach final in Federation Cup TT
DHAKA, Jan 20, 2020 (BSS)- Sonom Sultana Soma of Abahani and Nourin Sultana Mahi of Bangladesh Amy reached women’s singles final of the Federation Cup Ranking Table Tennis tournament winning their respective semifinal matches held on Monday at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city.
In the women’s singles first semifinal, Soma beat Sadia Rahman Mou of Abahani Limited 4-2 set in the first semifinal while Mahi defeated her teammate Rahima Akter also by 4-2 set in the second semis.
The men’s team singles semifinal and final and women’s final will be held tomorrow (Tuesday).
