Six more matches of Bangabandhu National Women’s Handball held

DHAKA, Jan 19, 2020 (BSS) – Six more matches of the Bangabandhu 30th National Women’s Handball Championship were decided in the second day today (Sunday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.

In the day’s matches, Bangladesh Police Handball Club beat Panchagarh district Sports Association by 25-12 goals after leading the first half by 15-4 goals, Noagaon District Sports Association defeated Dinajpur District Sports Association by 14-4 goals after dominating the first half by 6-3 goals.

Bangladesh Ansar outplayed Madaripur District Sports Association by 36-12 goals after leading the first half by 18-6 goals, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation over powered Rangamati District Sports Association by 36-2 goals after leading the first half by 19-1 goals.

Jamalpur District Sports Association outclassed Faridpur District Sports Association by 30-3 goals after dominating the first half by 18-1 goals and Bangladesh Police Handball Team beat Dinajpur District Sports Association by 22-5 goals after dominating the first half by 12-3 goals.

A total of fourteen district and services teams are taking part in the meet, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation.

The participating teams are Bangladesh Ansar, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation, Bangladesh Police, Panchagarh, Noagaon, Dhaka Faridpur, Gopalganj, Narail, Dinajpur, Madaripur, Rangamati and Bandabon districts.
