Army, Abahani move final in Fed Cup Ranking TT
DHAKA, Jan 18, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Army and Abahani Limited moved to the women’s team event final after winning their respective semifinals matches of the Federation Cup Ranking Table Tennis tournament at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city today.
In the day’s first semifinal, Army beat Straid International School by 3-0 set while Abahani Limited defeated Lalbagh TT Academy by 3-0 set in the second semis.
On the other hand, in the men’s teamevent quarterfinal matches, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra beat Fighter Boys Club, Linkers TT Club defeated Mighties TT Club , both by 3-0 set and Biman Bangladesh over powered Jahangir Builders by 3-2 set to move to the semifinals.
