Deputy leader mourns death of AL MP Mannan
DHAKA, Jan 18, 2020 (BSS) – Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda
Chowdhury today expressed deep shock at the death of Awami League leader
Abdul Mannan MP.
In a condolence message, Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury said, “The country has
lost a veteran politician in the death of Abdul Mannan. It is indeed an
irreparable loss to country’s political arena”.
She also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate condolence messages, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury,
Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Mia, State Minister for Women and Children
Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira and Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor
Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman expressed deep shock at the death of Abdul Mannan.
They also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed
for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Abdul Mannan, who was an elected MP from Bogura-1 constituency, died at
a hospital in Dhaka this morning after suffering from a cardiac arrest.
