RAJSHAHI, Jan 18, 2020 (BSS) – Two minor boys drowned in a pond at
Dashmary area under Matiher Police Station in the city today.
The deceased were identified as Fahim, 4, son of Masud Rana and Farhan,
4, son of Rana. They were cousin in relation.
Quoting locals SM Masud Parvej, Officer-in-Charge of Matiher Station,
said they drowned in the pond close to their house around 9 am when they were
playing on the bank of it.
At one stage of hectic search, the relatives found the bodies floating
in the pond this morning.
