DUCSU organise sports competition marking ‘Mujib Year’
DHAKA, Jan 16, 2020 (BSS) – To welcome the ‘Mujib year’, Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) organised a sports competition titled ‘DUCSU Mujib Year Indoor Sports Festival-2020’ marking the centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The indoor sports competition will begin from January 23 which includes table tennis, carom, chess and badminton, said a press release.
To participate in the competition, regular students of Dhaka University have to send their names for through registration both set inside the DUCSU building from January 17 to January 23.
In order to celebrate the ‘Mujib Year’, DUCSU will also arrange outdoor games in the next month which will include cricket, football and hockey, said Shakil Ahmed Tanvir, sports secretary of DUCSU.
