DHAKA, Jan 15, 2020 (BSS)- Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami
League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today went through medical checkup at
the Mount Elizabeth Hospitals in Singapore this morning.
After his check-up, the chief of medical team cardiologist Dr Philip Koh
expressed satisfaction over the expected improvement of physical condition of
the minister, who underwent a bypass surgery on March 20 last year.
The cardiologist said Quader’s condition remains stable and every
parameter has improved at expected level.
Since the bypass surgery of Quader at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, he has
been receiving medical checkup at the hospital.
On March 3 in 2019, the AL general secretary was admitted to Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital after suffering breathing
complications.
Medical tests revealed three blockages in his coronary artery and later he
was flown to Singapore for better treatment.
After receiving treatment, he returned home on May 15 last.
