JHENAIDAH, Jan 15, 2020 (BSS) – Three people, including a minor boy, were killed and four others injured in two separate road accidents in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Kamal Hossain, 31, Kholilur Rahman, 42 and Rony Ahmed, 10.
Additional Police Super of Jhenaidah, Milu Mia Biswas said the accident
occurred when a human-hauler locally known as Alam Shadhu collided head-on with a truck in Bazrapur area in Moheshpur Upazila this morning.
Kamal died on the spot while Kholilur succumbed to his injuries on way to Jashore General Hospital.
Four others injured in the accident were admitted to Kotchandpur Upazila Health Complex.
In another accident, a minor boy named Rony was killed when a microbus ran
over him in Shahpur Ghighati area under Kaliganj Upazila of the district this
morning. He was a student of class four at Ghighati govt primary school.
