Govt to modernise Karnaphuli Paper Mills: Kamal Mojumder
DHAKA, Jan 15, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder today said the government is planning to modernise the Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited for ensuring utilization of full production capacity.
“We are planning to renovate the Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited. We will install European machineries for making the mills profitable,” he said while visiting the Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited at Chandraghona under Chattogram district, said a press release here.
The state minister urged the officials and workers of the mills to provide their best efforts for making profitable of the mills. If the mills can make profit, it will also be beneficiary for the officials and workers of the mills, he added.
Among others, Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Md Haiul Quaium attended on the occasion.
