Nepal army chief meets with BD army chief
DHAKA, Jan 14, 2020 (BSS) – Chief of Army Staff in the Nepalese Army
General Purna Chandra Thapa paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff of
Bangladesh General Aziz Ahmed at the Army Headquarters here today.
During the meeting, they discussed the existing friendly relations between
the army personnel of the two countries, said an ISPR press release here.
They also discussed about sharing professional trainings between the two
countries.
The Nepalese army chief also paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Navy chief
and Bangladesh Air Force chief today, said the press release.
He also visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH), National Defence College
and Defence Service Command and Staff College.
General Thapa is scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
