DU-CRICKET-TOURNAMENT
DU Inter-Department, Inter Hall (Girls) Cricket begins
DHAKA, Jan 13, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka University (DU) Inter-Department (Boys)
and Inter Hall (Girls) Cricket Tournament began today at the university’s
central playground.
In the morning, Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University Professor Dr Md
Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the tournament at a function as the chief guest,
said a press release.
Hall provosts, chairmen of different departments, advisor of DU Physical
Education Centre Professor Dr Ashim Sarkar, teachers, students and officials
were attended the function with President of the DU Cricket Committee Prof Dr
M Hasibur Rashid in the chair.
A total of 82 departments and institutes and five DU girls’ halls are
taking part in the tournament.
