ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Jan 12, 2020 (BSS) – The activities of Islamic
University (IU) Law department’s Juristic Clinic was inaugurated today amid
much enthusiasm and festivity for providing the legal aid to the general
people.
IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the
functions of the clinic as the chief guest at a programme held at VC’s
conference room on the campus around 11:00 am.
Conducted by the moderator of the clinic Prof Dr M Johurul Islam, the
function was addressed, among others, by IU pro vice-chancellor Pr Dr M
Shahinoor Rahman and its treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toha as the special
guests.
Around one hundred teachers and students of the department were
participated on the occasion.
